--max-routes-per-client exceeded for network with small number of devices

Hi, I have situation with --max-routes-per-client exceeded (I have 256 max same as default https://openvpn.net/community-resources ... envpn-2-4/). I am under investigation what can be the cause of so many MAC addresses in the network which is under my control.

As stated in doc this is internal routing table. Do you know if this internal table is ageing? Can I clear table without restarting openvpn?
I could increase the number of routes but if I have some dynamic MAC generation in the network then the number of allowed routes will need to be really huge which is not what I want!

How do you deal with such scenario?
