Hi buddies,
I'm talking to you from Iran; one of the leader countries on internet censorship.
I just have launched an OpenVPN access server on my own CentOS 5.6 and everything is OK. Anyone from outside of Iran can connect to my server very easy and fast, but no one from Iran can connects to the server. Connecting procedure hangs on TLS authentication because Iranian government has blocked OpenVPN in whole protocol.
Is there any way to bypass this restriction ?
I can provide a VPS for you located in Iran to analyze the situation and find a good solution for this problem.
Anyone interested to help me ?

Re: OpenVPN hangs on TLS authentication during connecting
openvpn does not disguise itself from firewalls, so a firewall can easily detect and block openvpn traffic; your best bet is to use either a SOCKS proxy or to set up stunnel; stunnel traffic looks more like regular HTTPS traffic, but smart firewalls can also detect that kind of traffic and block it....
