how to raise VPN from openVPN client to Softether server through Azure
Hi all,
it seems the only way to bypass my ISP strong NAT is to pass through Azure
then, I'm not able to connect DIRECTLY the client and server (both windows laptop) but mandatorily I have to "bounce" from Azure...
Now, I have successfully setup a VPN using "Softether VPN client and Softether VPN server", via Azure
Under this configuration, is there a way to use "openVPN client" instead of "Softether VPN client"?
thanks

Re: how to raise VPN from openVPN client to Softether server through Azure
Excuse me TinCanTech,
I didn't know how to formulate and explain my issue.
I rephrase my question to be more clear and avoid wasting time. See below:
is there a way to use "openVPN client" to raise a VPN with "Softether VPN server" via Azure?
please remove my thread if still not compliant

For what purpose ?
if you are going to use softether then use it.
Why make your life even more complicated by mixing products that don't mix ?

excuse me TinCanTech, I would like to use openVPN because I'm more confident with it and, above all, because if I will be able to do it, I will use that configuration to reach my home from my android phone with openVPN client android app
softether HAS NOT any android client app
can you help me now?

Then setup a OpenVPN server, start here:

I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.

Re: how to raise VPN from openVPN client to Softether server through Azure
So turns out the OP's questions has more use cases...
I'm trying to setup a VPN at home to connect to when travelling, however due to my ISP firewall I was only able to do it via Softether with Azure.
Ideally when travelling I wanted to use my travel router from GL iNet, and use its VPN client directly (then all my devices are directly inside the VPN).
However GL iNet router only has OpenVPN and Wireguard VPN clients.
Is there a way to make this setup work?
Thanks!
Edit: minor text correction.
