I'm trying to remove Openvpn 2.5.3 but I cannot completely remove the software. I get the following error message: tap0901 error failed to uninstall driver: The operation completed successfully. (code 0x00000000) I've tried removing the software via windows uninstaller also tried an online uninstaller and both methods have failed. Is there a way to manually or using a proven method to completely remove the files?
Thanks in advance for your help.

We don't have much documentation about 2.5.3 MSI installer yet.

Re: windows 7 tap 0901 failed to uninstall driver error
Hello everyone!
I have the same problem after installing from version 2.6.1-I001-amd64 on Windows 7 x64.
I was upgrading from version 2.5.6-I605-amd64.
I want to roll back the version because the OpenVPN client stopped connecting to the VPN server at all.

I was able to remove the application using a registry cleaner.
