View/Save Session ID or Client Platform/Version?

Hello all,

is there a possibility to read the session ID, similar to trusted_ip or remote_port, with the OpenVPN server 2.5.x during the login process in order to save it somewhere?

Alternatively, is it possible to read and save the client version and the operating system used during the login via script?

At the moment, I only know that this information can be obtained from the log file. However, this method seems too error-prone to me.
