Hi,
I'm hopinh someone can help.
I've got a working OpenVPN server running in a VMWare VM.
On the 'Access Server advantages" page at http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-ser ... tages.html it mentions in point 11 that it can run "Web-Free" without needing to expose the web page.
I've blocked the TCP ports needed for the web page (943) and without opening it i cannot get a VPN connection working.
does anyone know how to 'turn on' this Web-Free mode?
thanks in advance for any help,
Dave

Re: Web-Free VPN
Disabling the web services disables the integration between client and server.
If you must do this, you will need to manually load the configuration profile on the client.
The configuration profile can then only be obtained through the CLI scripts.
And the Connect Client must be placed in advanced mode to allow import of profiles.
In other words; inadvisable, but possible.

I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
