Attempting to configure an Open VPN server on an existing network.But when the open vpn server runs it takes the first available ip address in the given block.A vpn on our ###.###.#.x network the server becomes ###.###.#.1. This is a problem because ###.###.#.1 is our gateway.

can we solved this problem?

when you create openvpn in server mode you also create a virtual interface
which MUST be in DIFFERENT subnet than your lan,

so what you see is NOT a problem.
