Untrusted SSL Certificate

I just setup OpenVPN and when I try to connect from a remote machine, I can get to the web gui, but when I try to connect whether from the GUI or Connect client I get "Untrusted SSL Certificate" and even if I press OK to continue it keeps bringing it up.

OpenVPN is installed in VMWare Player which is running on top of Windows Home Server 2011.

Any ideas?

Your issue sounds more of a broswer issue rather openvpn.. which version&release browser are you using? if you are broswing on the server itself you might need to turn down IE security settings on the windows server. if you have a check mark(disable sslv2) in "SSL Options for Web Services " in the GUI. older browsers wont work.

I was using the latest Chrome release. I do have disabled SSLv2 disabled in the web admin. Even when I try to connect via the Connect software installed locally I get the same thing.

Maybe you can try regenerating your ssl certifcate as per link below. not 100% this will work as im new to openvpnAs. but i just wanted to give you at least something to try. I have a few post that no one has responded to so i know how frustrating it is.

I'll give that a shot. I was going to try and create my own certificates but never got around to it. Just find this odd I'm getting that error because I've setup OpenVPN a bunch of times and never had this error.
