Ok so im trying to figure out away around doing some stupid work. I have to do 3 hours of work every day from a designated computer using VPN and im not aloud to use other computers. So i installed a remote login client so i can access that computer from any computer. My question is. Is it possible for VPN to see if im using a remote login and does VPN record any kind of data from my computer? Will the ip address be the same as if im logging in using a remote login from a different computer? I just need to know if using remote login will keep everything as is like im using the designated computer even though im not. So if someone could tell me if this will work please let me know and i will greatly appreciate it. Thank you to any one who helps.

I have used remote desktop and tightvnc to connect to a PC then launch openvpn-gui, which works fine. Openvpn doesn't care if you are actually sitting at the keyboard of the PC where it is installed, as far as I know anyhow.
