Tools for testing max number of tunnels to my OV server

I am looking for a tool that would simulate hundreds or even thousands of OpenVPN clients establishing sessions to my OpenVPN server. Obviously the tool would have to have the state machine necessary to communicate with and establish sessions with the OpenVPN server. Any recommendations?
