I am guessing that the development team is very busy but I would like to wish if it is possible for openvpn over dns and or openvpn over icmp.
Maybe a patch will do for now.

this will not happen until after openvpn 3.0
this is kinda mentioned in the roadmap.

those will be socket modules... for now it wont be happening, but 3.0 will be very modular, making something like that much easier to do
