Hey guys new here and I know I am a newbie, but I did do my research prior to just coming here asking for handout, I have learned alot about openvpn in the past 2 days.

I still however cannot find an answer to this.

Can a connection I make with pokerstars tell if it is through my openvpn connection installed on my wrt54gl via dd-wrt, or will it see it as normal traffic.

I guess I'm even asking if any network connection for that matter would be able to tell that it is via my openvpn (on my router) or will it not be able to tell and just see it as a normal connection from the vpn's ip address?

Thank you so much for any help,

newbie

if openvpn is configured correctly the traffic will appear to come from the VPN server IP. there is no way for a remote site to detect whether you're connected via a VPN or not.
