How to reset the password of openvpn certifications

when a openvpn user certifications was built ,if I don't want to revoke the certification and just want to reset the password of his certification,how to reset his password from the server so that he can't login with the old passwords?

you can't - the password of a private key is a property of the private key itself; this password is never transmitted to the server.
Unless you're also using username/password authentication you have no other choice then to revoke the certificate.
