OpenVPN Support Forum

Can anyone tell me the process of moving users and certificates from one server to the next? Right now I have a VPS that I use for OpenVPN. I want to reload the OS and set up OpenVPN again on the server. Assuming that I go through all the process of getting it installed and running properly, is it simply a matter of copying over the contents of the previous /etc/openvpn directory? That would be ideal but it sounds too simple.

all you need (after installing openvpn on new server) is to copy
the contents of /etc/openvpn folder to the new server and start the service...
