moving openvpn from mandrake to debian server

Post by deano777 » Sat Mar 26, 2011 12:53 pm

Hi,

I've tried to move open server from a mandrake box to a debian box.

all clients were working before the move and are not now :(

openvpn will not start on the new server.

the only error i get is n0: Disabled Privacy Extensions

copied over the all the certs from the old server to the new server as in

dh1024.pem extip my-ca.crt my-crl.pem server.conf server.crt server.key ta.key

and also copied over all the configs in /usr/local/CA

this contains all the client certs.

openvpn service just wont start on the server

I though it would be as easy as coping over the certs and config

anything else i need to do? or have I missed something?
