I currently have over 250 config although GUI doesn't support more than 50.

you'd have to rebuild the openvpn gui application - if you're a n00b then I'd say that is not really an option.
Why would you need/use 250 different setups? try renaming the ones you don't use frequently to .ovpn.DISABLE - only files named *.ovpn will be shown in the GUI .

Sorry to hijack this thread, but if I have multiple configs in a file for my users - is there a way to allow them to select which one they want to use? Or, by default do they have to drop only one at a time into /Configuration ?

Thx

have you tried the windows GUI with multiple configs? it's quite easy to use multiple configs using that. I'm not sure how easy this would be in the Mac OS clients - Tunnelblick seems to support it , don't know about Viscosity.

OpenVPN GUI now has a ~64,000 limit for the number of configs.

If that is not enough then it may be worth to consider that what-ever you are doing, it could be done a better way.
