Client config works on one machine but not another

I currently have no problems connecting successfully with my personal laptop using the Windows openvpn gui. Now I'm trying to connect another machine but it's not working. I copied my certs and config (basically everything found in c:\program files\openvpn\config) over to the new machine. When I attempt to connect I'm getting an error message stating: "Options error: Unrecognized option or missing parameter(s) in mydomain.ovpn:13: remote-cert-tls (2.0.9)
Use --help for more information."
So I believe it's choking on the line in my config that says:
remote-cert-tls server
If I comment that line out then I get a new error about script-security.
Can I not just copy my certs and config files from one machine to another and connect? Is my server rejecting this other machine for some odd reason? Do I have to create new certs for this new machine in order for it to connect?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
