I was looking for it, but can't find it. Or maybe I'm missing something.

When one's using the cryptoapicert function to use a cert in a token/smart card, it would be nice to be able also to read the CA associated from the same api to avoid to have to manually enter the CA file in the openvpn path.

I would like a function called cryptoapica to assign a CA that is availablethrough the API.

have you looked into pkcs?

PKCS has the same ca requirement.

However, even if PKCS is supposed to be more OS agnostic, you need to know which and where is the used pkcs engine. I have played with multiple pkcs engine (including opensc), but I've noticed that many if not most of the proprietary tokens can also communicate with the windows cert store that make a more streamline way of dealing with it.
