Hi
I use OpenVPN application in my office setup using Ubuntu Linux Desktop 10.04. I am usually connected to LAN via wired connection which works fine. Whenever I am expected for my office meeting. I switch it to WIFI. so is there a way to maintain a seamless session whenever there is a switch from Wired to Wifi so that i dont need to manually restart my openvpn service on my laptop whenever there is a switch from Wired to Wifi or Wifi to Wired
Please suggest/guide.
Thanks and Regards
Kaushal

Re: openvpn client maintaining sessions
This was answered in IRC.
He needed a keepalive setting on the server. His vpn still goes down when he switches but now it comes back soon after
it drops because he is changing his IP on the lan, his router does not know that is his connection.
