Hi,

i'm very new to vpn. basically, my client when im connected directly to my router works fine. however, since my laptop doest get much of a connection when i go to where i work regularly i use a repeater to get a signal so i can work. i use an old dlink 615 router as a repeater in this fashion:
access-point.jpg
. I can surf with openvpn on fine using this configuration. However, when i want to turn my vpn on (i bought a pkg from supervpn), i run openvpn and the software gets stuck at 'obtaining configuration.' Also, after attempting to connect and the openvpn software getting stuck on 'obtaining configuration,' when i click cancel, then click on 'status' it says 'server ip: %s; traffic: (blank); connected: (current date and time); disconnect.' not sure but according to the software it appears as thought it believes i am connected(?) Not sure how to fix this, but i've been searching for a way for about 10 hours. If anyone can help, it'll be much appreciated. (note: in the link i proved showing my setup, i have a combined router/modem and a stand alone router.)... think i posted this in the wrong section too...

SOLVED. APPARENTLY MY SETUP WAS FINE, BUT UNBEKNOWNST TO ME, AFTER I TOLD THEM EARLIER TODAY THAT THEY DID NOT INCLUDE THE ACCOUNT PROFILE IN THEIR CUSTOMER DOWNLOAD, THEY DECIDED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, BY SHUTTING OFF MY ACCT AND ACTIVATING THE PROPER ONE.

fixed to have the image in-line instead of linking to outside-hosted image
you found your problem was not openvpn, so nothing more to see here
if you agree there was no openvpn issue say so, and ill delete the thread =]
