Hi,
Newbie here.
I want to download and concatenate the logs for the last say 6 months from our Openvpn server and match connecting machines names (if they exist in the log) against known machine names to try and spot any unknown machines.
Does any one have any tips on how to copy the logs off the server so I can get them into Excel?
Any pointers would be very welcome.
Cheers
How to download and analyse logs

Re: How to download and analyse logs
Hi,
You can use the ./logdba tool as described on this link: https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resources/log-database/
But please note that it is NOT possible to log the Client hostname/machine name in the OpenVPN Access Server.
