Cloud connexa site to site networking: ics and routing

Post by coamdk » Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:02 am

Hi

I'm testing cloud connexa because I want to connect trough VPN two remotes networks. I've created the first network like this:

IP services: 192.168.1.0 / 24 - ALL TCP and UDP
Routes: 192.168.1.0 / 24

I've deployed a connector on a Windows server 2008. Enabling ICS between the two net interfaces (the physical interface and the openvpn interface created by the openvpn connector) I can connect from any device with the openvpn client and access all my net resources (ping, shared folders, remote Desktop, etc).

But when I enable routing on the Windows server 2008 and create static routes on my firewall, I have to disable ICS. From this point, I can't access all my net resources from the client, but I can ping the openvpn clients from my net.

What I'm doing wrong? I've deployed two connectors, one with ICS enabled and the other with routing enabled, and It works, but... It's possible to do this with one single connector?

Thanks

Finally working with one single connector, RRAS (routing) enabled, static route added to the firewall
