OpenVPN bypass by ethernet

Dear,
I have a problem with OpenVPN GUI when my PC is connected by cable to the network.
When I am on WIFI, my exit IP address is the one provided by the VPN, but as soon as I plug in an Ethernet cable, my exit IP address becomes my public address of my local network.
Do you have any idea where this could come from?
