Amazon Firestick install freezes on startup.

Installed on both a FireStick 3rd Gen and a Firestick 4k with same results.
When I start OpenVPN, I get a 'splash page' - " Data Collection, USE and Retention".
There's a scroll bar to the right (That disappears after a couple secs.) and an AGREE button at the bottom
Other than a long HOME key press, nothing works.
The screen is frozen
Unable to scroll down, back or click on the AGREE.
A long key press of the HOME key manages to exit.
Both Sticks are up-to-date
OpenVPN = OpenVPN App 3.3.0 (arm-v7a) (nodpi) (Android 4.4+)
(not the latest, but other posts suggested it would work)
Suggestions greatly appreciated !
