I am able to connect to VPN but I can't open webpages

I am able to connect to Open VPN w/ no errors, but I can't connect to webpages or even nslookup on terminal.
Steps taken:
- checked internet connection & it works no issue when Open VPN is disconnected
- Tried Open VPN local certificate on another pc (windows) & have no issues browsing on different webpages
