Bit of a newbie with OpenVPN
DHCP / IP assigned issue I need help with please
The Draytek router has DHCP Server DISABLED
The LAN has a WIndows 2019 server, offering DHCP and DNS
I'm successfully connecting to a Draytek router running OpenVPN server BUT...
When I check the router's logs its showing my OpenVPN client has an ip address of 192.168.1.200 but its NOT being assigned by our windows2019 box
Is there a way to make sure the WIndows2019 DHCP server is assigning me an IP address?
Any ideas?

Re: ovpn client not receiving an ip from win2019 server
found it
In the Draytek menus under LAN > GENERAL SETUP > LAN1 > DETAILS
as stated my DHCP server on the draytek is DISABLED
I simply filled in the DHCP RELAY section and set its IP address to that of my Windows2019 server
To verify, I used OpenVPN client to connect and checked the Draytek's menu VPN & REMOTE ACCESS > CONNECTION MANAGEMENT and there I was with the appropriate IP address assigned by out Windows2019 DHCP server. I verified this on the Windows2019 computer too.
