Hello
I have configured OpenVPN GUI 11.43 to connect a VPN server configured with openvpn server. The VPN server is hostet on a Mikrotik router.
When we try to connect we receive following error on GUI client:

2023-08-08 09:25:04 VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=unsuitable certificate purpose: C=TO, ST=Italia, O=Axce, CN=CA, serial=710794933130557795
2023-08-08 09:25:04 OpenSSL: error:0A000086:SSL routines::certificate verify failed
2023-08-08 09:25:04 TLS_ERROR: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error
2023-08-08 09:25:04 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error
2023-08-08 09:25:04 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed

Could you help to solve the issue?

Getting this exact same error, not sure if the issue was ever identified.

The error indicates a certificate verification issue. Ensure the CA certificate is trusted, the certificate chain is complete, and the OpenVPN client and server configurations are correct. Check firewall rules and consult the OpenVPN documentation for troubleshooting.
