no tray icon on Windows 7

Startup on Windows boot is enabled.
Occasionally there is no tray icon on Windows 7 (even in the hidden area).
Launching GUI does not help
The client is present in the task manager list.
It’s annoying as I cannot use the client until the next reboot.
Is it possible to restart a program in a way that an icon reappears?
