OpenVPN Support Forum

I am using a Netgear router R7000P and am trying to put a VPN on my wife's iPhone14 Pro & my iPhone14 Pro Max.
These are the instructions that I am trying to follow.

Followed the instructions to the point where I 'Import Profile' in OpenVPN app.
Have the iPhone connected to computer.
The word ‘File’ is highlighted in the OpenVPN app but cannot go to computer to find the .ovpn file.

Tried to paste a .png of the iPnone but this program will not allow it.

Am I doing something wrong?

You need to copy the .ovpn file to the iPhone, doesn't matter how, send the .ovpn file as an attachment if you have to. After which you can import the .ovpn profile to the OpenVPN Connect app. In order to do that. Tap on the .ovpn file > tap on sharing (icon in the bottom left corner) and select the Connect app from the list of apps.
