Client Route Statement

Post by tmanstls » Wed Jan 18, 2023 9:30 pm

We have an internal resource that to access it, we have a route statement on our Main router that says route (publicIP)X.X.X.X 255.255.255.0 (inernalIP)X.X.X.X . This essentially sends any traffic going to the public range to the internal IP that is Site to Site VPN for a vendor resource. It works fine internally to the network. When we VPN in we cannot access the resource. I can ping the internalIP via VPN so I know it can see it. What I need to know where/how would I create a route statement for the VPN connection. Since it is VPN it does not traverse my internal router so the route statement is not seen.
