Configuring OpenVPN GUI

Post by technic » Tue Jan 17, 2023 11:59 am

Hi there,

I'm trying to configure my OpenVPN GUI to access someone else's environment.
I was given an IP address, a shared key and a username + password.

Where should I add these values ?
Could someone help me out ?

Thank you

Hi,

Someone else should have given you a configuration file.

You should ask the server admin for it.
Also, it is not clear if this about OpenVPN or a different protocol.
.
I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.

I know we are using OpenVPN GUI, but maybe it's not the correct way to go with the information I was given ?
