Suddenly no network access anymore

Hello,

this is my first time posting here because I dont have any idea how to fix this problem by my self.

My workplace requires me to use OpenVPN on my private laptop while i work from home. Unfortunately our IT Support is not allowed to work with our private laptops so they cannot help me with the problem. Also, from the conversation I had with them so far, I doubt that they have the skills to fix it either. Anyways I can only change settings in my openvpn client and have no idea of the server side setup of the network.

The problem is that I connect to VPN with the OpenVPN GUI like I have done many times before. But since yesterday I do not have any access to the network although the OpenVPN GUI tells me everthing is fine. I have no idea what the problem is and since I dont know much about the way VPN connections work I failed to resolve the problem by myself.

I hope that you have an idea about what the issue might be.
Thank you already for you help!

Hello q3948,

Since this is about OpenVPN GUI, the open source client, and not about OpenVPN Connect, the proprietary client, I'll move this ticket over to the open source section of this forum.

Regarding your issue though, one thing I can conclude is that according to your log you are successfully connected. But I don't see anything here about routes being implemented. So maybe the server is not pushing the subnets that give you access to anything. The log snippet may just be incomplete, I don't know.

Kind regards,
Johan
