Hello everyone,

I accidentally deleted /etc/default/OpenVPN on my fedora machine

I've tried reinstalling OpenVPN with both dnf and yum but no luck. I've also downloaded OpenVPN using dnf download but i could not find the file there.... Finally I've tried the GitHub page but i also can't find it there.

Does anyone have a clue how I can get this file back?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Johan,

I'd think it might be "openvpn" rather than "OpenVPN", but I am not a Fedora user. I found this:
https://fedora.pkgs.org/36/fedora-updat ... 4.rpm.html
But it does not list anything in /etc/default in that package.

You'll need to try to identify what package put that file there. That's of course a Fedora question, not an openvpn one. Good luck.
