Hi, I'm having a problem with only one teammate using OpenVPN for Windows. All the team is using the same profile with the same version of Client VPN.
He can connect to the VPN but after a minute he disconnects with the following error message: "Authentication Failed"
Can anyone tell me what is happening?

To be honest, not sure. I am seeing an ASIO system read error about the virtual network device used to transport VPN data. Seems there is a problem communicating with that. I do not know what can cause that, as I have not seen this error before.

I would suggest as an alternative solution for this one user to install OpenVPN GUI (part of OpenVPN2 installation package for Windows) and use that client instead, to see if that works correctly. Even if it doesn't, it provides another data point. If it does work, then at least you have a solution now for this one particular user.

It almost sounds like the virtual network adapter is being influenced by some external program. Are you using any other programs that can incorporate OpenVPN support? There are some Internet security programs that include a copy of OpenVPN as well, and they tend to mess with virtual network drivers too. Could be a cause of the problem.
