OpenVPN Support Forum

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is the right forum so apologies if I have made a mistake.

I have recently bought a router with the plan to access the vpn function remotely. I have already successfully installed via the ovpn profile supplied by the router, openvpn on my mac and successfully connected to the home router via openvpn.

When I try and use the same profile on my apple devices I get the following error :

Failed to import profile. selected file has incorrect profile configuration

Error message ca.crt,client.crt, client.key

This is odd considering the same profile works fine on the mac.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong. or how to manually install the details onto openvpn on my iphone or ipad?
