OpenVPN Support Forum

Hello. Is there a guide somewhere on how to setup an automatic connection? My sister wants to play a game with me over the net, so I gave her OpenVPN to connect to my LAN. It works, but she keeps forgetting to connect before she fires up the game. I'd like to make a batch file that will ping my network IP and if it can't reach it, it will automatically connect to my VPN using her creds so for her it's seamless... click icon, it all happens automatically then opens game.

I did the --help option on the command line, but I can't figure it out. I was wondering if there was a tutorial/guide somewhere on this subject?

There is a folder on the computer called C:\Program Files\Openvpn\config-auto\README.md
which explains what you need.

I haven't tried the GUI version myself.
