Openvpn on debian prot change

I know, maybe it is a dump question but can I somehow simply change the protocol from TCP do UDP on my server? I have been using it for a long time and I have just noticed that I selected TCP. Can I simply modify it in etc/openvpn config? What will happen with clients? I wanna test the speed on UDP I have an impression that TCP is super slow.
