Running the msi installer on an administrator account ( I get no 'run as administrator' menu option), results in most of the installation process running until stopped with error message:
"Service 'OpenVPN Interactive Service' ('OpenVPN Interactive) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
Now I AM the administrator account. Theres no 'run as administrator' option for the installer.
What else can I check? Is there an exe version of the installer that might give me the 'run as administrator' option?

You probably need to enable Windows to allow you to use the administrator account fully,
some security setting which I cannot remember..

I have been into the windows Group Policy editor adding my administrator as well as SYSTEM into those allowed to 'log on as a service' and checked the Windows installer service is set to run as automatic as described here:
