OpenVPN Support Forum

Hi all,
firstly, please forgive the multiple questions on OpenVPN, I am 60, very new to any VPN setup and trying hard to learn. I have a basic knowledge of how VPN works, however, some things have confused me a little, so please try to be patient with me.
So, I have setup an account with OpenVPN, configured a network for all internet access (this seems to be working correctly, if I do a tracert I see the OpenVPN IP address in step 2) and downloaded and installed the client on Windows 10 and am currently connected.
Questions are as follows:
1: Why does my original external IP address (the one assigned by my ISP) still show up when I go to whatismyp websites? I have configured the network with Internet Gateway (Egress) ON
2: How do I configure the users/groups to use the network I have created? Currently it shows the network as connected but the user (me) and my device (my PC) as disconnected.

I cannot believe that in 18 days, no-one is able (or willing) to answer my query. Have I written my query incorrectly, I am asking too many questions in one or am I asking questions that are impossible to resolve?

No idea and nothing to do with OpenVPN.

No idea and nothing to do with OpenVPN.

It actually has everything to do with OpenVPN, I am asking about the users and groups created on the OpenVPN Cloud dashboard/console.

Do you mean the client VPN IP address, example: 10.8.0.6 ?

Not to worry, thank you, I have deleted my account at OpenVPN Cloud and will investigate other options. Have great day further.
