In LMDE 4 I have several VPN connections working via Cyberghost and OpenVPN, via networkmanager a manually entered script as described by Cyberghost, never encountered any problems.
The Openvpn release in LMDE 4 is 1.8.10-1.
The release of Openvpn in LMDE 5 is 1.8.12-2
But now in LMDE 5 it is impossible to establish a VPN connection with OpenVPN and Cyberghost.
I perform exactly the same operation as in LMDE 4 to establish the connection.
But I keep getting the message, "The connection to the VPN network "openvpn" failed because the VPN service returned an invalid configuration".
Who has any idea?

Hello,
Cyberghost automatically configures a script and I manually enter the script openvpn.ovpn in the network manager.
In Linux Mint Debian 4 this works without any problems, but in Linux Mint Debian 5 it doesn't work.
I have compared all VPN settings between LMDE 4 and 5 and they are the same.
The exact same configuration works on LMDE4 but not on LMDE5.
I also disabled the firewall but unfortunately nothing.

Via this link https://support.cyberghostvpn.com/hc/en ... rk-Manager , Create a new VPN profile.
When I apply this in LMDE 4 it works without problems, but it does not work in LMDE 5.

Run openvpn without network-manager, just run it from a terminal.
