i am using ubuntu 18.04
when my private tunnel subscription ended i created an "openvpn cloud" account as suggested here: https://openvpn.net/cloud-vpn/
I followed the the "onboarding wziard" under "documentation" after signing into my new account
it says "install open vpn connect", i did as per the instructions: https://openvpn.net/cloud-docs/openvpn- ... for-linux/ no problems
then it says "Launch OpenVPN Connect App" and enter the url for my account, but the opnvnp3 i installed is a command line interface to manage sessions, i can't launch any gui as pictured in the documentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5bHoycrPn0
i can't find any instructions about how to proceed. There is some info here: https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn3-linux/ I need a config file to run the command however. How is the config file generated from my account etc?
thanks for any help

Re: openvpn cloud - stuck in set up wizard
Hi never,
You can use any web browser to connect to your Cloud portal. You download the profile there. It's just a small text file. Then use that profile with your connector.
The references to GUI are for the OpenVPN Connect app for Windows, Mac and others. There is no Connect for Linux. For Linux you can use openvpn3-linux (as you seem to have) or the open source openvpn(8) software which came with your GNU/Linux distribution.
regards, rob0
