Hello,
the funcionality "reconnect on reboot" is not working.
After rebooting the Android the application does not start. This behaviour has been seen in
* Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, with Android 11
* Google Pixel 5, with Android 12

Application Open VPN Connect v3.2.5 (7182)

The VPN tunnel is using certificate based authentication and hence no human interaction is needed
The application has permissions for "Read content of your shared storage" but also as "other capabilites" the following, amongst others, are listed: "Run foreground service" and "run at startup"

Any idea why this is not working?
Any idea how to fix this?

Perhaps the VPN cannot connect due to an error, check your logs.

The connection is working fine when the user manually connects after reboot.
Once the android reboots the appllication does not start and there is not connection attempt logged in the server.
Looking at the Android logs there is no traces of OpenVPN Connect application activity either.

Facing the same issue wiht a shield tv pro Android 11 and openvpn connect 3.2.6 (can connect manaualy but no auto reconnect after reboot despiste the parameter activation).

Any solution to reconnect on reboot automaticaly?

I am getting the same on Samsung galaxy tablet with android version 11.

Here the same problem on a Nvidia Shield 2019 (tube model). It used to work perfect in Android 9. Today I upgraded to Android 11 and the OpenVPN client will not reconnect on reboot anymore.
Is there a solution to be expected?
