Searched extensively but can't find an .asc file (or alternative extension) with which I can verify a downloaded OpenVPN .dmg package file. Are there any public keys and available for this purpose? Only found for Windows .exe files.

Did see the sha256 verification on the website though.

For open source OpenVPN, you can find the GnuPG signature files. For OpenVPN Connect, you can find the sha256sum data. Both methods are fine to verify the integrity of the files.
