Cannot connect on mobile data / 4G

I am running an Asus router both as OpenVPN server and client with NordVPN. The Server part is basically only used for accessing Home Assistant by establishing traffic through the OpenVPN Connect app. However, I am not able to connect to my OpenVPN server from my iPhone when it is on mobile data / 4G, only on Wi-Fi. Any ideas for troubleshooting?
