I'm using a VPN that uses OpenVPN however it doesn't seem to ignore the local hosts file nor antivirus firewall, anyway to force ignore them?

I noticed that the VPN I'm using is bundled with OpenVPN however OpenVPN doesn't automatically bypass my AV's firewall nor the local hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) is there a way to force it to bypass them?

Openvpn is not supposed to bypass them .. ?

Maybe you have an example of what you mean ..
