We are in 2021 and swupdate.openvpn.net does not yet support IPv6, granting it doesn't care about the absurd lack of IPV4s, plus is not trying to comply with the new technologies.

I was in shock when I did an

Code: Select all

apt update
just to see this:

Code: Select all

Fetched 1.382 kB in 3s (438 kB/s)
Reading package lists... Done
W: Failed to fetch https://swupdate.openvpn.net/community/openvpn3/repos/dists/focal/InRelease Something wicked happened resolving 'swupdate.openvpn.net:https' (-5 - No address associated with hostname)
W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
This is completely insane, in 2021.

Code: Select all

┌[mdr☮blackbox]-(/etc/apt/sources.list.d)
└> host -t AAAA swupdate.openvpn.net
swupdate.openvpn.net has no AAAA record
