OpenVPN Support Forum

So when I am connected, whatsmyip says I am using the vpnbook server, however, when I click "Show me more info about me" it shows a map right on my actual street. Without the vpn, it at least just shows my general "area". What in the heck is this and how is it bypassing the vpn server and showing my street? But get this, sometimes ill refresh it (whatsmyip browser page) or use it another time, then it shows where it is supposed to, where the vpn is located. It is random on whether it will show my location or the vpn's location. Any ideas?

Yea it's as if the vpn exposes your actual location by mere feet. I just tried again with no vpn or anything, and the map points 10 miles roughly from my actual house. Something is messed up.
