Dark screen

Good morning all,
I am using openvpn to reach my servers through an iptables firewall. The connection is done without any problem on each of my machines; However, although some simple commands like ls very often end with a cut. When I open a file for editing (with vi or nano), I have a black screen, and I have to kill my session.
It also happens to me sometimes by going to look for an internal dashboard.
And I have no particular error in the logs. Just the famous kill appears.
Anyone have any idea why this little problem?
