This appears to be something that is broken in 2.5.0 on Windows 10. The OpenVPNService exists in services.msc but it does not work.

I ended up removing OpenVPN 2.5.0 and installing OpenVPN 2.4.9 where this feature actually works on Windows 10.

You should clarify what you mean by "does not work". The openvpn service is just there to let openvpn GUI to work under a standard user account without showing administrative prompts. Also, since your post was split off, please adjust your topic title.
