OpenVPN Support Forum

Hello All,

Thank you for being here. So I'm VERY new to VPN and I'm doing all this for my personal use for fun and education. Up until now, I was using an endpoint solution as my VPN solution but then decided to take it to another level.

I wanted to be able to extend my home network via VPN to my laptop and mobile device while on the road and away from the home. So after lots of Googling, I came upon OpenVPN. I went the route of OpenVPN Cloud because I have Windows 10 Pro (guess I could have turned on Hyper-V and then downloaded Access Server for Hyper-V), but wanted to minimize my involvement for the time being. So I have one PC, networked printer and a bunch of other hardware devices i.e. Ring, Canary, and so on and so forth and it was/is free as long as I don't go past 3 connections.

Sorry for being long-winded but my question is where should I post questions or issues with OpenVPN Cloud? I only see Access server rooms but don't want to incur anyone's fury

this is what I'm seeing UNLESS you mean that OpenVPN Cloud has its own separate community forum site not part of this one? If so, my apologies.

So I'm reading your suggestion about OpenVPN 2.5.0 and I'm trying to figure out the difference(s) between that and OpenVPN cloud (which is what I installed/configured)?
